What you're buying
Burrowlab is a parametric typeface design app. You design custom fonts in the browser and export them as OTF, TTF, WOFF2, specimens (PDF), proofs (PDF), and source files. Downloading your finished font files is what costs credits — designing, previewing, and iterating inside the app are free.
Free downloads
Every account starts with 5 download credits per calendar month. Credits reset 30 days after your first download of the cycle. Unused free credits don't roll over.
Credits — €1 per credit
Once your monthly free downloads are used, you can buy additional credits at €1 each. Purchased credits never expire. Buy as many or as few as you need — the buy button in-app prefills the exact amount the download in front of you costs.
All prices include applicable VAT where required. Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy (the Merchant of Record).
How a download is priced
Each download task is billed as the sum of four components, rounded up to the nearest whole credit. The exact total is shown in the app before you confirm a build.

Bulk components (styles, glyphs, file kinds) are progressively discounted: each additional unit costs less than the previous one, down to a floor of 20 % of the unit price. The in-app cost estimator shows the discounted total before purchase.
Examples
- Single OTF, small font (50 glyphs) — about 2 credits ≈ €2.
- OTF + WOFF2, 200-glyph font — about 4 credits ≈ €4.
- Full family (4 styles), 350 glyphs, OTF + WOFF2 + PDF specimen — about 10 credits ≈ €10.

Refunds & policy
Purchased credits are non-expiring digital goods. For EU consumers, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies up until the moment you consume your first purchased credit by downloading a font. Full details are in our refund policy and terms of service.
